Book a Demo

We would love to show you what Project Overwatch can do and how it might work for your organisation

System Requirements

Project Overwatch has been designed to run on MS SQL server 2016 and higher and can access any data that can be seen using the Linked Server options in Management Studio. This will include any other on-prem databases or cloud based servers as long as you have the correct credentials installed. We generally don't run in our own instance, but sit alongside either your production database or data warehouse. Server licencing and installation configuration is not included in our pricing models, but we will help you to ensure that configuration is compatible with our solutions.

If you are running in other environments, we would love to discuss these with you as we are always looking to expand the capability of the software and are keen for pilot partners using other technology stacks.

Show, Not Tell

As Project Overwatch is primarily focussed as a technical solution rather than a user-centric graphical interface we are very keen for the demos to be hands on and have your technical team involved; DBAs, Report Writers, Business Analysts and Project Managers.

The demo is not your traditional sales pitch, rather an in depth disucssion on the problems you are facing and how our unique approach may able to assist. Ideally you will have access to your code repository (test systems will do) and a handful of existing DQ reports or challenges that we can use to translate into the POW way of working. We like to think that even if you don't choose to take on the challenge with us that you will get a few pointers that will make life easier for managing the DQ challenges in your systems and would choose to join us in making the DQ landscape better for all social housing providers.

Target Audience

Data Quality often falls through the cracks: IT and technical teams are rarely impacted directly but end up having to baby-sit the problems

The power or Overwatch lies both in it's ease of use for IT and the impact for front line team members. Although we are happy to demonstrate to any group at any time, we find that you are more likely to get value from the demo if you have a panel made up of Subject Matter Experts, Project Management, Data Governance and Technical Leads. In particular, Technical team need to understand how switching to our early-intervention model can drastically benefit them and their workload; shifting activity from report creation to anomaly detection, and SMEs who will be able to grasp the concept that the organisation will now have the capacity to cover many more data quality issues that arise, rather than just the handful of P1 issues that are breaking the system.

PMs and DGs are useful so that they can understand how to weave the culture of data quality into process redesign

Technical Heavy discussions

As this is ultimately not a traditional user-facing system, there is more focus on the design paradigm around prototyping, development and deployment and selling the ease-of-ownership to the technical team. That is not to say we don't have a graphical interface to help visualise what is going on and help with maintenance; but the core of the product is the database and configuration

Follow up from Demo

We understand that every organisation has a different budget, timeframe, technical expertise and is in a different place in their data quality journey.

Once we have agreed that you are a good fit based on technical platform and culture there are a number of routes we can explore

  • On site / Via Teams Proof of concept against test/training systems: identify a number of DQ issues and build them into a demo system for a wider audience
  • Site Reference visits to see how other organisations are using Overwatch to improve their data quality processes
  • A 'light' version that focusses only on DQ capture to demonstrate ease of capture
